What are Reiki Crystals?

 

Reiki is the ancient Japanese art of laying on of hands and channeling healing energies to the key Chakra points of the body. Many believe that the healing properties of crystals are largely due to their abilities to focus and concentrate these same metaphysical energies. Crystals and gemstones with healing properties also are known to target specific body areas and bodily functions. Most Shamans and other metaphysical healers understand that crystals also have powerful psychic and spiritual connections to Chakras’, making them a natural adjunct to Reiki healing.

Reiki Practitioners

Many Reiki masters will use Chakra Crystals  in their healing practices. But any crystals or gems known to have healing properties such as Mustika Pearls and Bezoar Stones can be used to enhance the stress relief and healing power. Think of power crystals as a strong lens able to focus the vibrational energies of the universe that the Reiki Master taps into. Mustika Pearls and Bezoar Stones have these same abilities. In fact many would argue that since Mustika Pearls and Bezoar Stones have an organic origin and are connected to a basic life force, they are exceptionally beneficial in the practice.

In a session Mustika Pearls, Bezoar Stones and other healing gems are used to focus their metaphysical energies on the specific areas in the body that need help and rejuvenation. Quartz Crystals and their cousins the Mustika Pearls and Bezoar Stones are known to have powerful healing abilities and therefore are particularly useful when used by a Reiki Master.

Crystals and stones used in combination with Reiki either in self-treatment or by a Reiki practitioner are either used by holding the healing crystals or the Mustika Pearls, or Bezoar Stones in the hands of the Reiki, or by placing healing crystals and healing stones on the chakra points on the body during treatments.

When using crystal healing methods in combination with Reiki practices it is recommended that you focus your meditation on the colors radiated by the crystals or healing stones and imagine that color washing through your body. Here are the Chakra’s and Crystals and Gems that give forth the most healing radiations for those areas.

• Head – Crystal Color Spectrum: Clear, Pure White. Quartz Crystals
• Heart and Chest – Crystal Color Spectrum: Green & Pink. Rose Quartz
• Abdominal Region – Crystal Color Spectrum: Yellow, Amber, Gold. Citrine, Amber, and Rutilated Quartz Crystals
• Pelvic Region – Crystal Color Spectrum: Brown, Red Gray. Smoky Quartz, Tiger’s Eye, Obsidian, Onyx, Ruby and Bloodstone
• Legs – any of the darker colored Mustika Pearls and Bezoar Stones may be used on the legs to focus meditative and healing energies.

Before using crystals or gems healing practice they need to be infused with Reiki, this is usually accomplished by laying the healing stones and crystals out on a Crystal Geographic Grid.

In addition to holding healing crystals in the hands and placing healing gems and stones on Chakra points during Reiki treatments many practitioners enjoy having crystals and stones throughout the treatment area for the natural healing auras they put out, further enhancing the overall therapeutic environment of the treatment area.
